I doubt there's anyone in my scope of friends and acquaintances who haven't heard about the ongoing Todd Goldman/David and Goliath art theft issue, but for those of you who haven't (or who haven't really checked it out), a blogger named Mike Tyndall put together a seriously comprehensive post of the various creative rip-offs and thefts that David and Goliath has perpetrated over the years. This isn't really a new or a one-time thing.

Creative theft is a real problem for people whose creative ideas are the trade they make a living on, and it's easy to get away with doing this kind of thing to lesser-known artists like Goldman has. What would bring 'justice' to this issue? Well, D&G shouldn't make another ill-gotten penny from merchandising their stolen ideas. Goldman should be laughed out of any gallery he tries to shop his shitty stolen paintings to. In a truly karmic world, he'd never work in this town again.
Will any of that happen? Who knows. Pass it along.
